Information we collect
When you email us, we receive your name, email address and anything you include in your message. When you book a class or buy an event ticket, we collect the details needed to complete the booking, such as your name, email address and the tickets you have bought. Payments and donations are handled by PayPal. We do not receive or store your full card or bank details. When you visit the website, our hosting and security systems record technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, to keep the site secure and working properly.
How we use your information
We use your information to reply to your enquiries, manage your class and event bookings, send booking confirmations and important updates about the classes or events you have booked, process payments, and keep the website secure. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for marketing without your consent.
Our legal basis
Under UK data protection law, we rely on: performing a contract with you, when you book a class or buy a ticket; our legitimate interests, when we reply to enquiries and keep the website secure; and our legal obligations, for example keeping financial records. Where we ask for your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
Children
Some of our classes are for children. Bookings and enquiries for children should be made by a parent or guardian, who provides the information needed on the child's behalf.
Who we share information with
We share information only where needed to provide our services: PayPal, to process payments and donations; our website hosting and email providers; and any authority where the law requires it. Some pages include content from other services. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, videos are embedded from YouTube, and event pages may show Google Maps. These services may receive your IP address and set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.
Cookies
The website uses cookies that are needed for it to work, such as remembering items during ticket checkout. Embedded YouTube videos and Google Maps may set their own cookies. We do not currently use advertising or analytics tracking cookies.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above. Booking and payment records are kept for as long as required for accounting and legal purposes.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to ask for it to be transferred. To make a request, email enquiries@xpozure.com. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
